Winston Salem is a great place to live!

Winston Salem is a great place to live during the fall season!  Here are few fun ideas nearby:

Take a short 25 minute drive to Pilot Mountain State Park.  See the beauty of the fall leaves changing from high atop the pinnacle over 1,400 feet above the piedmont plateau.  Treat yourself to a horseback ride through the woods or challenge the river from raft or canoe. A seven-mile woodland corridor joins two sections of the park, each section offering a wealth of opportunities for outdoor fun.

Have you ever seen those scary movies where someone gets lost in a corn field?  Get a group together and visit The Amazing Maize Maze in Huntersville.  There will also be hayrides and a bonfire.  The Maize Maze is open Thursday-Sunday 10 am-5 pm. Flashlight Maze will be held Friday Night, October 31st at 7:00 PM. Visit their website at www.ruralhill.net/maze.htm.  This is a North Carolina Halloween tradition!
